Started in 1999 with one store on the Kings Road, London after our founder Alex was determined to bring the beauty of Asian furniture back to his home country for all to enjoy. Today we have 17 stores and are expanding fast.

Founded in 1886 by Walter Whittard, Whittard of Chelsea now has over 126 retail stores throughout Great Britain and are opening more all the time. We enjoy extremely high brand recognition, a brand that embodies quality and trust and is recognised for expertise. This high street recognition has enabled us to launch our successful mail-order business to our very loyal customer base.
www.whittard.co.uk was re-launched in October 2005 and we now have extremely aggressive plans to expand our mail-order business and provide a first class service to our customers. Our extensive product range – from its core of tea and coffee, now encompasses a full range of tea and coffee related products including fine ceramics, tableware, coffee and tea equipment and machines and a carefully selected range of confectionery, gift items and seasonal hampers.
